TASK
During the renovation of the Wagner House in Riga, it was necessary to preserve the authenticity of the historic section of the Old Sidewalk, known as “Vecrīga.”
SOLUTION
To protect the sidewalk, modern RS200 XL plates were used, capable of withstanding loads of up to 50 tons per square meter. The plates, measuring 2.4 x 1.2 meters, allowed for quick coverage of large areas, and their weight of 49 kg made them easy to transport and install without the need for heavy equipment, which was especially important in the narrow streets.
RESULT
The use of RS200 XL plates effectively safeguarded the historic area of the Old Sidewalk, maintaining its authentic character while enabling efficient renovation in the difficult-to-access, narrow streets of Riga.
